Who am I?

My name is Henna Hurskainen, and I started as an assistant at Radientum in September 2022. As a student of international relations and economics I saw the company as a great opportunity for me to utilize the expertise learned in my studies to a growing company. As a student I also wanted to find a workplace which would offer me challenges and possibility to learn and develop my skills.

Blog writer Henna Hurskainen is completing not one but two Master’s degrees while ensuring everything works smoothly in our Tampere office.

My work day consists mainly tasks related to accounting and invoices, but I can influence the content of my work quite much which makes my days very versatile and interesting. Some days I must adapt to different situations and tasks whenever they appear. The best part of my work is that I can be innovative and act on things I consider important and need approvement.

In my first month working at Radientum I have improved my language skills in an international working environment, gained understanding of invoicing and accounting and acquired knowledge about the challenges but also assets of fast-growing consulting company.

Why Radientum?

From my very first day at work, I have had the support and help to every task from my colleagues. The whole company has welcomed me warmly and I feel that at Radientum I have space to grow and develop my skills alongside the company, but I also have permission to make mistakes and fail – as long as we can all learn together from the mistakes and make an improvement next time. I am encouraged to innovate and propose new ideas which motivates me in my work.

I can highly recommend Radientum as an employer. In the ingenious working environment among the most talented, experienced professionals is a unique possibility to learn and grow. The best part is that even though people here work hard with ambitious goals the working culture is positive, cheerful and contains a lot of humor. As a student it is also important that the employer is flexible with the working hours. I have had no difficulties in putting together studying and working and my employer is supporting my studies. Our both offices in Tampere and Espoo are in great location and it is also possible to work remotely.
